About Me

Before establishing my own practice 10 years ago I worked as an Associate Attorney with a high volume law firm in Buffalo, New York for 18 years where I represented thousands of clients residing all across Western New York. I am a solo practitioner representing individuals and small businesses in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, while also representing claimants before the Social Security Administration and engage in appellate practice in Federal District Court on disability matters.

In 1992 I received my Bachelors of Arts degree from SUNY at Potsdam and then went on to obtain my Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School of Union University in 1995. I was admitted to practice in New York State including the United States Bankruptcy Court and District Court for the Western District of New York. I am a member of the Erie County Bar Association, National Association of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives, and have previously served as speaker on the topics of bankruptcy and social security disability in continuing legal education programs sponsored by the New York State Bar Association, National Business Institute, and the Erie County Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyer’s Project. For over 20 years I have participated in the Erie county Bar Associations’ Volunteer Lawyers Program, and I have also had the opportunity to appear on local television and radio stations to discuss bankruptcy and social security disability topics.
